In order to connect to the PKM-Age server, you will need to have the following installed:
Minecraft 1.20.2
Forge Version 48.1.0 - https://files.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/index_1.20.2.html
Minecraft 1.20.2 Pixelmon Mod 9.2.8 Client Version - https://reforged.gg/
If you do not have Java installed, you may also need the following: https://download.oracle.com/java/21/archive/jdk-21.0.3_windows-x64_bin.exe
Start with forge, https://files.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/index_1.20.2.html . In this link you will find a 'Download Latest' button, which will download for you the Forge 1.20.2 Version 28.1.0 file.
Once this is downloaded you will need to double click the file to run it, if it does not run then you will need to install Java https://download.oracle.com/java/21/archive/jdk-21.0.3_windows-x64_bin.exe and then attempt again.
You can also attempt to right click the file and 'Open With Java' or 'Open With OpenJDK'. After double clicking this file you will be presented with an installer, all settings should automatically fill in as 'Install client' and with your Minecraft installation path so press the 'ok' button.
Once this is completed you can download the Pixelmon Mod from https://reforged.gg/ clicking on the 'Download 1.20.2 (Alpha)' button.
Leave this file in your downloads for now. Now open your Minecraft Launcher, select on the left side the 'Minecraft: Java Edition' option. Then across the top select 'Installations', this will bring up a list of your Minecraft installations - if forge has been installed correctly you should see an option with a Furnace icon that says '1.20.2-forge-48.1.0'. Hover over this option and you will see a folder icon next to the 'Play' button. Select the folder icon to open your Minecraft installation, and find the 'mods' folder. Now drag the Pixelmon file downloaded previously and drop it into the mods folder, ensuring that there are no other files in there.
Close the folder and select Play on the forge installation! Now connect to MC-Ages as normal with the ip play.mc-ages.com and type /pkm-age in the lobby or click on the PKM-Age NPC!
